Napa Wedding Venues: Westin Versa Napa, Silverado Resort and Spa, and Meritage Resort and Spa

Summer is in full swing, and the heat here in Napa is perfect for weddings. Hot, but not too hot during the day. The evenings are simply magical and the perfect temperature for dancing under the stars. For those of you who are already planning for next year, here are three very nice places near downtown Napa to consider for your wedding. It seems that people zip right past downtown Napa to head to the wineries when looking for a Napa wedding venue.  The truth is, there is a range of Napa wedding venues in the town of Napa, plus they are all unique and fit a range of budgets.

The three I am writing about today all have lodging options at the same place as the reception location, but beyond that, they are as different as cake and pie. Staying near downtown Napa is convenient for guests, because they can take taxis to easily explore downtown Napa and tasting rooms. I had the pleasure of touring each of them.

The Westin Verasa is located in downtown Napa. It is a hotel, and so that means no driving for your guests- yahoooo! There is a darling courtyard for your dinner too! All of their details are on their website in the weddings section.

There is a combination of options at Silverado Resort and Spa. If someone is a golfer, check this place out. Details about weddings at Silverado Resort and Spa are in the wedding section of their website.

The Meritage Resort and Spa is another stunner in Napa. This location is close to downtown Napa, but still has a vineyard for your wedding ceremony.  My personal favorite feature was the bowling alley. Can you think of a better after-party location?! Check out the details of their wedding services on their website.

To sum it up, there are wonderful options for a range of budgets and visions that are close to downtown Napa.  A few snapshots I  took from the site visits are below. Enjoy!

If we haven’t met yet, hi! I’m Lindsey Nickel, and I’m a local Napa wedding planner and the owner of Lovely Day Events. My team and I have planned more than 140 destination weddings, so I can tell you firsthand that wine country weddings are something special. I’m a Napa, California based event planner specializing in destinations weddings and celebrations of life. When I’m not planning an event I love hiking, fostering dogs and binge watching Real Housewives (SLC, OC and Beverly Hills are my favorites).

I’ve been planning events since 2010 so I’ve seen what works and what doesn’t work for a beautiful, memorable and low stress event day.

My clients and expertise have been featured in The New York Times, CNN, InStyle, Brides and The Knot just to name a few.
