"Lovely Day Events was hands down the best decision we made throughout our entire wedding process. We are from Minnesota and decided to do our destination wedding in Sonoma Valley two weeks after we had gotten engaged in Napa Valley. After a lot of research and knowing I couldn’t make it out to California before our wedding, we realized we needed a wedding planner before moving forward with any of our plans. I had interviewed about six or seven planning companies in hopes of finding someone who I liked, trusted, and had worked with out of state brides. Our last call was with Lindsey and about four seconds after hanging up the phone with her, I called my parents and told them we found our gal... "As any bride knows, planning a wedding can be very nerve-wracking. Planning it long distance (to a place neither of had been) was even more crazy. Having a small wedding and a fairly small budget, I went on the search for someone to help with the process at a reasonable price. I talked to quite a few wedding planners and knew right away that Lindsey would be the best fit. From the start, she was very well organized – asking questions about what we were looking for from our day, what we were nervous about, etc. – and she was honest when I would ask about venues or recommendations. When we arrived in Jackson the week of the wedding, I was pretty nervous but felt a huge sense of relief when I met Lindsey and her team. They were so excited about the wedding, really cared about what we wanted out of our day and were super easy to work with.
