Erin and Garrison's Winter Wonderland Wedding at Spring Creek Ranch featured in Rocky Mountain Bride
Erin and Garrison's winter wonderland wedding at Spring Creek Ranch was nothing short of spectacular. We were delighted to be a part of this couple's snowy, romantic day and are pleased to announce their wedding has been featured in Rocky Mountain Bride's 2016 Wyoming Issue!
Some of the details of Erin and Garrison's wedding included the bride's beautiful boho chic dress by Rue De Seine. The dress was perfectly completed by a fur wrap which went along with their neutral color palette.
One of our favorite details of the day were the stunning flowers by Jackson Hole Flower Company which included a delicate floral crown for the bride made of champagne roses. Guests were seated at tables adorned with antlers and horseshoes, making for the perfect place settings.
For more about this dreamy winter wedding, read about the details in RMB's 2016 Wyoming Issue.
We were so excited to see Anna and Derek’s wedding featured on Brides! BR Cohn’s rolling vineyards were the setting for this dreamy, summer wedding in Sonoma, California. Bride Anna chose a stunning lace dress designed by Maggie Sotero that was complimented by her colorful bouquet of roses and ranunculus.
Anna and Derek love traveling was a theme throughout the day. Their guest’s tables were named after states the couple had visited together. Anna also handcrafted a seating chart using a map of the US to help guests locate their table.
The bride’s advice to anyone getting married is to hire a wedding coordinator, "it will make your wedding day so much more enjoyable and stress-free!" We are so glad Anna chose us to help make her wedding a “Lovely Day!”

Diane and Mark February 22, 2014
This was my first winter wedding and they were calling for snow, snow and more snow! Now if you live here this is always a welcomed forecast, but if you are traveling here for a wedding, this can sometimes rattle your nerves. But that was not the case for Diane and Mark. They were unbelievably laid back and calm (even when the linen company forgot to send the special order linens!!). Easy-going is the one essential word I would use to describe them, and in love. They were so excited to get married that they knew everything else would fall in to place.
The wedding day came and the snow continued to fall. Guests could not believe how much snow we were getting. They all came in brushing snow off their coats and smiling. The ceremony started and the when Diane walked down the aisle, I don't think I have seen a bigger smile that the one on Mark's face when he first saw her. After the ceremony ended, it was time to take some pictures in the snow! The photographer and I were very excited to see how the pictures were going to come out as snow can make things look very romantic!! After the pictures and a little alone time, the couple joined their guests and the party began. Dinner was served and shortly after the dancing started. The Diane and Mark originally thought guest would be ready to settle in for the night by 10pm but when 10pm rolled around, the guests wanted more. I asked the couple if they wanted to wrap it up or keep it going and they both said they wanted the guests to be happy so crank up the music!!
It was a beautiful day for a wonderful couple! Thank you Diane and Mark for letting me be part of your day!

Alisa and Brayden March 1, 2014
If it is snow and skiing you want for your wedding in Jackson, then snow and skiing it is!! Alisa and Brayden wanted to put together a big ski trip for their closest family and friends and I think they pulled it off pretty well. It snowed and snowed and kept snowing. The day of their wedding was possibly the biggest snowfall all year. It was so good they even stayed for a few extra runs before the ceremony.
The wedding day was a day full of skiing for all their family and friends. Alisa and Brayden took a few extra runs at the resort then headed back to get ready. The guests finished up their runs and came back to hot chocolate, cold beers and much needed appetizers at the lodge. After a few refreshments, they all headed outside in their ski gear as requested by Alisa and Brayden. The violinist began and out walked a stunning ski bunny in her cute short dress, white down coat and super cute Sorel's!!! They met at the end of the aisle with snow and flower petals underneath their feet. With the snow covered trees surrounding them and with the blessing of their friends and family, they said "I do". It was truly a beautiful day with 2 wonderful people!!
After the ceremony, the bride and groom went to take pictures as guests moved inside and started getting ready for dinner. People started gathering around the fireplace and reminiscing about what a great ski trip this was and about what a great week they had had in Jackson. The chef started the food and the night of celebrating with the newlyweds began. It was a trip they will never forget.
It was such a pleasure getting to meet and spend time with Alisa and Brayden and both their close family and friends!! Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your big day!! Congratulations!!

Becci and VirgilJanuary 3, 2014
There is no better way to start a new year off than with a wedding. Becci and Virgil's wedding was simple, sweet, small and perfectly them. We are certainly in the age of technology because these two met on eHarmony. During our first meeting on the phone, Becci had many pieces of her planning up in the air and said she would be excited about anything since she was so excited to finally be marrying Virgil. There was one thing that was very clear in the meeting, she really loves Virgil. The day before the wedding we went around town finalizing the details with vendors. The next day was the big day and this is where you could see the planning that Becci had worked hard on the last few months: everyone wore stunning wedding attire. As I write this a few days after the wedding, I am dying to see the photos from Heather Erson Photography, but you don't have to wait and can see them below. The young boys wore the most amazing three-piece suits and hats. In my ten years living in Jackson Hole I can honestly say I have never seen more dapperly dressed five and seven-year olds. The 10-year-old daughter was not be out done. Her dress was clearly made for a princess and I am secretly hoping her coat comes in adult sizes. The ceremony brought tears to everyone's eyes, including the children. This is where you could literally feel the love between Becci and Virgil. At one point in the ceremony they each said a few words to each other and it was as if they were the only two people in the whole world. The ceremony ended with the two families becoming one with a unity candle. The beauty of having a small wedding in your own private room, is that your children can run around while you and your new spouse enjoy a private photo shoot outside. Thankfully the one guest, Nani, attended and kept her grandchildren entertained. I'm pretty sure the children enjoyed their private own rumpus room too. The evening ended with a short drive in a snow storm to the Rendezvous Bistro. It always amazes me how the private dining room can be transformed for any occasion. Floral Art did a magnificent job designing the flowers to fit the space and create the perfect wedding reception for Becci and Virgil.

Winter seems to keep lingering here in Jackson Hole, so this winter shoot caught my eye. I love the wood elements and the winter warmth of this wedding. Feathers and Wood Wedding Inspiration
For today’s shoot, event stylist Jill took two objects and ran with them — you guessed it, feathers and wood. With a bit of help from photographers The Willinghams and florist Bare Root Flora, she was able to get a great deal of mileage out of the theme, coming up with this fresh take on the rustic phenomenon.
From the stylist, Jill: This styled shoot was inspired by the current bohemian trends and rustic romance of Colorado. Dramatic elements of leather and feathers were brought into the bride and groom’s accessories as well as in the beautiful florals, cake, stationery, and table settings. The result is an earthy, elegant, and achievable vibe with many do it yourself details that brides will love to make their own.
When it came to florals, Bare Root Flora wanted something textural and lush. We went with a palette of deep eggplant purples, wines, blush pinks, and creamy whites as a soft, feminine foil to the earthier feel of the leather and feathers. Gorgeous ranunculus, king protea, anemone, roses, andromeda, parrot tulips, sweet peas and viburnum gave the pieces the rich look we wanted–not to mention a fragrance to die for!
White chocolate fondant cake wrapped with edible sugar belts that look like real leather with metal buckles. The belts were textured, then antiqued with edible food color. The top of the cake is adorned with a single sugar feather.

According to Pantone the color for 2013 is Emerald. Love it? Hate it? Personally it reminds me a bit of Christmas, so I think it would be great for a winter wedding. For any season I love the clutch!

In honor of my visit to San Francisco this week, here is wedding inspiration post from a Berkeley photo shoot. I know Cal families are already getting excited about this!
We’re totally smitten with this raw elegance inspired photo shoot by Jennifer Skog Photographers. The juxtaposition of design elements is bold and in a word, stunning. Masculine and feminine mesh perfectly with leather accents and pretty florals, and weathered industrial elements are at home next to gold accented glassware. It’s insanely brilliant and so creative, we can’t help but spend the afternoon gazing at all the lovely in the full gallery. Join us, won’t you?
