Maggie and AndyJuly 20, 2013

After my first phone call with Maggie and Andy, I knew this was going to be a fun wedding!! They had met miraculously on-line and fell instantly for each other. In the time since they met they hosted dinner parties, traveled the world, ate pounds and pounds of sushi and fine cheeses, and attended friends' beautiful weddings. With all this under their belt, it was time for them to throw a wedding of their own. They wanted a James Bond feel with a vintage, elegant, artistic flair. Could we make this happen in Jackson Hole...Of course!! Maggie and Andy specifically wanted lots of good music and especially good food (minus cake...they both hate cake). Maggie being an art teacher used her artistic talents to create fun, locally inspired welcome bags for all their guests and made cute horse shoe favors for all the guests at the reception. The week boasted of a welcome dinner at the Four Seasons, wedding party white water rafting trip, rehearsal dinner at the Kitchen, and reception at Jackson Hole Golf and Tennis. This wedding would not have been complete without a western inspired photo booth, exquisite wine, and tactical Oscar style spoofing of both their brother's during their toasts. After an amazing dinner, the DJ turned it up and the dancing began (props included) and it only stopped because they hit the venue curfew. I think they would have danced the night away had they been allowed!! Both bride and groom wanted to show their closest friends and family a good time in Jackson Hole and their goal was accomplished!!

Their elegant yet adventurous wedding week would not be complete without a dream escape and honeymoon in Santorini, the Amalfi Coast, and Venice.

Congratulations Maggie and Andy!! Best wishes and thank you for letting us help coordinate your amazing wedding!!

Reception Location- Moose Creek Ranch

Moose Creek Ranch provides a stunning and private setting for a wedding, nestled in the western flank of the Teton Mountain Range. The pond area just outside the Lodge is an idyllic location for the ceremony and reception.

If you’d prefer to have your reception indoors, the newly remodeled Lodge is spacious enough for 100 people and contains a full size catering kitchen. We also offer our historic barn for after dinner dancing.

Separate Bride and Groom dressing rooms, each with full size bath, spacious vanity with a seating area add to the list of amenities for wedding parties.

Did you know?  Moose Creek Ranch now offer 5 new large wall tents with queen size beds nestled along Moose Creek. Each tent has its own interior wood stove, an outdoor fire pit, shaded porch with reading chairs, and battery operated lanterns.

Wake up to the soft glow of sunlight. Cook breakfast on one of the designated firepits, head off for a trail ride or visit Grand Teton National Park, then return for sharing fireside stories with your friends and family. Finally, fall asleep on a cozy pillow to the sound of the creek. You may even hear an elk bugling in the Canyon.

Cheers to the First Blog Post!

So here I am, writing the first entry for the blog. I think I deserve a bottle of champagne. Not just because I love champagne, but because it means celebration. When ever I meet a potential bride client for the first time I bring her a bottle of champagne. Why do I bring the champagne? She has a lot to celebrate! She is getting married, she is planning a huge event and she is about to live happily ever after. I also like to pretend I am crafty. See those tags? I made those. Well I didn't make the paper, paint the images or punch the holes. However, I did spend time collecting cards from every holiday, scraps of paper, vintage labels and anything cute or inspiring and stash them in a box. Then I carefully cut my collection apart and stylishly attach them to the shipping labels. The final touch is a personal note to the client I am about to meet.

What do you have to celebrate? Pop a bottle of bubbly, because everyone has something to celebrate and be sure to follow this blog!
